The Staff Selection Commission will conduct an open examination for recruitment For 58,373 posts of Constable (GD) in BSF, CRPF, CISF, ITBP, SSB, NIA and SSF and Rifleman in Assam Rifles as per the Recruitment Scheme formulated by the Ministry of Home Affairs. Applications are invited from the dedicated eligible candidates (especially female) to be a part of this examination and be a part of Indian Forces. More detailed information are given hereunder :

Pay Band-I, Rs. 21,700 – 69100.
Eligibility Criteria
NATIONALITY/CITIZENSHIP : A candidate must be a citizen of India.
AGE LIMITS :
18-23 years as on 01.08.2018. Candidates should not have been born earlier than 02.08.1995 and not later than 01.08.2000.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS :
(as on 01.08.2018), Matriculation or Xth (High School) class pass from a recognized board/ university.
NOTE : Candidates
who have not acquired the Essential Educational Qualification as on 1st
August, 2018 will not be Eligible and Need not Apply…
PHYSICAL STANDARDS :
Physical standards laid down for the post of Constable are –
a) Height :
For Males : 170 cms.
For Females : 157 cms.
b) Chest :
For males only – Unexpanded : 80 cms.
– Expanded : Min expansion 5 cms.
c) Weight :
For males and Females : Proportionate to height and age as per medical standards.
c) Race (Running) :
For Males : 5 Km. in 24 Minutes.
For Females : 1.6 Km. in 8 Minute 30 Second.
Selection Process
The recruitment process will consist of:
- *Online Written Examination,
- *Physical Standards Test,
- *Physical Efficiency Test and Medical Examination.
Application Process
Application Fee payable :
Rupees hundred only (Rs. 100) payable through CRF stamps for off line application or SBI Challan or online payment through SBI Challan /Net banking/credit /debit cards in the case of online application. Fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation, as per Government orders.
How to Apply :
On-line submission of application form may be made on website (https://www.ssc.nic.in/) by Login through User Name And password. Facility of on-line application will be available From 17.08.2018. Such candidates should retain the registration number assigned to them on line for correspondence with the commission. They are not required to submit print outs of their application to the commission.
